LID:: July 2015 Release:: Day 3
Welcome back to the third and final day of the Lil' Inker Designs June Release! As usual, we have a fabulous hop for you featuring innovative stamps and dies, I hope you enjoyed this sweet release! You should have arrived from Heather Hoffman's Blog!
I had a lot of fun creating this first card. I started with a white card base and die cut a really cool pattern from the Cover Up Die: Dotted Scallops. I love the detail in this die, as the dots get larger at the bottom of the scallop and smaller at the top. I then backed the underside of the card front with a solid piece of orange cardstock, to really make the scallops stand out. I then die cut the really fun pineapple from Pineapple Panache Die and added a stamped detail with the Pineapple Panache Stamp Set. Lovin' the ability to mix and match patterns to make some really fun pineapples! I mounted the pineapple onto a punched dark orange base and finished the card with a stamped sentiment from Pineapple Panache Stamp Set and flag from the Pinking Edged Sentiment Flag Die Set.
My last project of this release features the the pineapple products too for a completely different look.
I stamped a pineapple pattern in pink with stamps from Pineapple Panache and then added small details to fill in with the sun from Snailed It! Stamps, dots from Awesome Blossoms Stamps, and the little heart from Vintage Ink Stamps. I then finished the card with a sentiment from the new Greetings and Salutations Stamps. An one layer card perfect for mailing!

LID:: July 2015 Release:: Day 2
Welcome back to the second day of the Lil' Inker Designs July Release! As usual, we have a fabulous hop for you featuring innovative stamps and dies! You should have arrived from Sarah Jay's Blog!
My first card features the really cool, really easy to use, and really versatile Quilted Flowers Dies as well a beautiful stamp set, Greetings And Salutations. I helped make these dies happen, with Laura's amazing idea. They sure were a labor of love, and I couldn't be more proud of them. They are so cool, and so, so, so versatile. I used the middle die from Quilted Flowers only, both the positive and negative parts. I adhered these to the card after inking the flower and leaves, and added a sentiment from Greetings And Salutations.
My second card features the Quilted Flowers Dies as well, this time I die cut the middle piece again and then added the stitching by placing the die cut piece over the stitched die and running it through the die cutting machine one more time. So easy and quick-but look at the cute stitched detail! Before adhering to the card base, I prayed each flower with shimmer spray for a lovely, subtle look. I finished the card with a shimmer stitched strip made from Stitched Mats: Long and Skinny Rectangles Set and a shimmery, large die cut sentiment from the Thanks Word Die. I really, truly love the possibilities of the Quilted Flower Die and I hope you do too!

May Arts:: Ribbon Scrap Blog Hop
Do you have a huge pile of ribbon scraps like I do? Beauties that you just can't seem to toss no matter what length they are? May Arts is showcasing many ways to use up your ribbon scraps with a cool blog hop. There is even a grab bag of May Arts Ribbon as a prize, and believe me, this grab bag is huge and full of the prettiest ribbon you ever did see!
I needed some quick thank you gifts so my son and I made some homemade chocolate chip cookies, bagged them up, and ransacked my ribbon scrap bin to find some coordinating ribbon. Here I tied off the bag with beautiful 1.5" Sheer Classic White Floral Print 517-15-01and coordinating 1" Sheer Ribbon in Peach C12 and Apricot C13, as well as a stray silk hydrangea bloom. I love the coordinating sheer from different lines.
This next bag is tied with 3/4" Twill Mauve Chevron in 382-34-19, a few strips of 1/2" Solid White Wrinkle Ribbon in EA01 and finished with a second bow made from Grape Burlap String in SM36.
Such a simple way to dress up a gift! I love to mix and match colors, hues, widths and textures: May Arts Ribbon has so many different choices that coordinate!
Please be sure to check out the May Arts Blog for further details!

LID:: July 2015 Release:: Day 1
It's the first day of the Lil' Inker Designs July Release and I'm positive you will love it! As usual, we have a fabulous hop for you featuring innovative stamps and dies! You should have arrived from Chrissy Larson's Blog!
I have two projects to show you today! My first card features the new Cover Up Die: Stitched Woodgrain (which I helped design!!) as well as the Snailed It! Dies and Snailed It! Stamp Set. So cute together but could be used separately too! I started by embossing a pink cardstock background panel with the Stitched Woodgrain (see the awesome heart in the middle and bottom corner?? Love!). I then cut a series of dots with the largest rectangle from Dual Dotted Rectangle Dies (released last month) for the snail to rest on. The next step was to die cut a snail and then I inked the entire panel and adhered it to my cardstock base. I finished the card with a sentiment from Snailed It! then was stamped in a die from Speech Bubbles 2 Die Set. I completed the look by stamping a cute smile for the snail from the Piece of Me Stamp Set (perfect size for this snail!) and added a paper flower shell.
My next card features the coordinating Snailed It! Dies and Snailed It! Stamps as well as the Wrapper's Delight: Sunburst wrap around die released last month. This card was so quick and easy to put together! So cute.
Your next stop is Lisa Henke!

May Arts:: Stampendous
May Arts has teamed up with Stampendous for a whole week of inspiration! I got to work with cool, wild stamps from Stampendous and pulled out some coordinating May Arts Ribbon.
I started my first card by stamping the beautiful Pen Pattern Lion Rubber Stamp from Stampendous, and lightly coloring him with copics. I then added some details from the Wild Sayings Perfectly Clear Stamps and a background image from an older, retired Stampendous stamp. Then I finished the card with some of my go-to ribbon, 1/4" Silk Ribbon in Antique Gold (SK33) and a double bow of May Arts Burlap String in Ivory (SM09) and Antique Gold (SM32). I absolutely adore that there are so many different textures of ribbon and trims available from May Arts in the same color.
My next projects features the cool, wild inspired ribbon available at May Arts. I created a simple gift card hold and wrapped it in two rows of May Arts 5/8" Velvet Animal Print in Giraffe (429-58-13). I then made a fluffy, luscious bow of 1.25" May Arts Silk Ribbon in Antique Gold (SK33) and looped some May Arts Burlap String in Antique Gold (SM32) to complete the look. I finished the gift card with a stamped sentiment from Stampendous' Wild Sayings Perfectly Clear Stamps.
This hop has a fabulous prize associated with it! There is a $25 Ribbon Resources (May Art's Retail Online Store!) up for grabs! Stop by the May Arts Blog for more details, and see the line-up below.
