Papertrey November Blog Hop Challenge
Bright & bold watercolored blooms replace the ornaments from the lively inspiration photograph for the November Papertrey Ink Blog Hop.
I stamped the flowers from my all time favorite Papertrey Ink set, In Bloom in pink and blue, and the leaves in a bright green and then used my Zig Markers with water to color them in. I added some splatters in each of the colors, along with gold. The sentiment is from an older PTI anniversary set and then I finished the card with a black and gold strip to ground the card.
Plaid Cats
I'm more of a dog person than a cat person, but I couldn't pass up getting these cute kitties inked up and colored...their attitudes surely shine.
The cats from Cat Friends Stamp Set and removed them from their holiday setting. They were stamped and heat embossed, then watercolored. I fussy cut them and added them to a card base decorated with a few plaid patterns with a woodgrain thrown in. The sentiment is from MFT's Essential Sentiments Stamp Set.
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday, spending time with your loved ones and eating a lot of amazing food!

BRI:: Tangled Trimmings
Almost a month until Christmas! I'm not ready, not by any means. We'll be putting up our tree this weekend, and I am sure that I will quite look like this little Yeti by the end of the trimming...
I challenged myself to use unconventional holiday colors for my card up on The Butterfly Reflections Ink Blog, and it was rather fun to pull out all the pastels! I would be tickled pink if you stopped by The Butterfly Reflections Ink Blog to see the full card and list of supplies and leave a comment!

Color Burst Blooms
Trying out a new product, Color Bursts, and they are fun...and challenging at the same time! I was happy to get out of my comfort zone of the clean lines and controlled coloring to try these little powders out.
I was inspired by the colors of the Altenew November Inspiration Challenge for my Color Burst Blooms.
I adhered the panel onto a white base that had a strip of teal and fushia affixed to the right side. I finished the card with a die cut sentiment.

Strongman Birthday
That banner has to be pretty heavy, eh? I just adore this cute circus set from Neat & Tangled, called Big Top Birthday...so many fun and cute images.
I'm participating in the Little Tangle's Challenge 74: Clean and Simple. I masked the platform, strongman and banner and inked some yellow onto a white card base. I then went back and stamped each of the elements and colored them in with Copics.
I also added some glossy accents for additional shine on some of the elements. I added some stripes of red to the left side of the cardbase to mimic a circus tent and then adhered the strong man panel.
Although it almost appears that the strongman is going to fall off the platform due to some not so great masking, I rather enjoy this masculine based CAS card.

Kneaded You
Even though my best friend lives many, many hours away, I appreciate that she is always there for me, even through the most rough of time. I am lucky in the fact that she will always be in my life-she's my sister, she's my identical twin! She is a veterinarian, so I am pretty sure she will find the humor in this card twice over when it arrives.
I'm playing along with the MFT Color Challenge #57, and their Share the Love Campaign. I started by stamping and coloring one of the cute kittens from Cat-itude and some custom banners with Sketched Blooms. I splattered some gray ink onto a white cardbase, stamped the sentiment and adhered all the stamped elements. I finished the card with some Nuvo Drops.
BRI:: Toy Shelf
My boys are well into planning and preparing for the holidays with the toys they are wishing for under the tree. I was inspired by all the cute critter stamps available at The Butterfly Reflections Ink Store and created this Toy Shelf card for The Butterfly Reflections Ink Blog. I would be tickled pink if you stopped by there to see the full card and list of supplies and leave a comment!

LID:: 25 Days of Christmas Tag
Bring on the holiday crafting! I'm tickled to be participating in Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags Series featuring Lil' Inker Designs. Tracey has gathered up some amazing designers and sponsors for a month long feature of Christmas Tags. If you haven't seen the previous days' tags, please stop by her blog and take a look!
I started out by stamping the gorgeous image from Oh Deer Christmas Stamp with black ink onto watercolor paper. I then lightly colored the image in with traditional colors for the sky and holly, and used a mix of gold and copper for the deer. This was die cut out from Anytime Tags Die Set 2. I also cut the same tag from kraft paper which was embossed with Quilted Swirl Stitched Pattern Cover Plate. I trimmed the outside of the colored image just inside the stitched lines and mounted this to the kraft tag base. I then stamped the deer and image and sentiment onto bright pink paper and trimmed it, which was then mounted over the two tags. I finished with some gold twinkle ribbon and natural twine.
With the holiday right around the corner, let's join together and make some tags and get ahead of the game!
Cupcake Inspirations:: Surprise Sweetie
What a delight to be participating in the really fun Cupcake Inspiration Challenge again, this time as a Surprise Sweetie!
This week there is a really rich and regal cupcake to be inspired by! Aren't the colors gorgeous?
...midnight, gold and turquoise.
My creation started with a watercolor wash of turquoise paint onto watercolor paper. I then stamped in midnight ink flowers, leaves and a fun sentiment from Lil' Inker Design's Doodled Daisies Stamp Set. I then splattered the panel with some gold ink and added some gold Nuvo Drops to the centers of each flowers. I mounted the panel onto gold cardstock and then onto a white card base.
I hope you have a chance to play along this week. Serendipity Stamps is the sponsor!

Here's to the Farmers
I have some good friends that invited my boys and I over to their family farm a few times this summer, and surprisingly, it was a lot of fun to help them out. I greatly admire farmers, they work hard!
I'm playing along with the Lawnscaping Challenge #141: CAS. I had these cute farm animals stamped and colored for, well, I think three years? Finally pulled them out in an effort to clean up my crafty area and they made their way onto this card, in a stacked fashion.
Before adhering the animals from Critters on the Farm, I lightly sponged and splatters some blue "sky" onto a white card base. I stamped a portion of the sentiment onto green cardstock and banner from Bannerific and then finished the sentiment from On the Mend. I added a strip of black and white washi and then adhered the farm animal panel onto a white card base.
