A Panda Bear

Catherine Pooler Designs newest collection, At Home, is available to StampNation members now and to the general public tomorrow, February 9th at 9am EST. This collection has patterns in design and organic plant shapes meet a mix of retro and CP whimsy in the stamps and dies in this collection. Charming clocks to curious kitties, this collection has it all! 

 One of my favorite sets from this release is the Bold Bits & Patterns Stamp Set and today I'm featuring my favorite card I made for this release. The cute panda bear (or dog, or bear...) was created from items with the Natural Flourishes Bundle.

It was so easy to create the panda from different stamps from the Bold Bits & Patterns Stamp Set-stamped in Twilight and Black Jack and Pretty in Pink for the blush, with a touch of heat embossing and doodles thrown in to create the nose and mouth. I adhered the panda onto a card base that had been ink blended and stamped with stamps from the Bold Bits & Patterns Stamp Set as well as the Natural Flourishes Stamp Set. I finished the card with a vertical sentiment strip with a sentiment from Natural Flourishes. 

I was so proud of this panda I created from basic shapes. I have a few more cards and ideas to share the rest of this week. Soft Flourishes

This collection is available to StampNation members on Tuesday, February 8th at noon EST and ordering to the general public goes live on Wednesday, February 9th at 9am EST.

 For my card today, I am featuring the Date Night Mini Inks and the Natural Flourishes Stamp Set (which has corresponding dies) for this one layer card. I adore the large size of the outlined images and the trendy fonts of the variety of sentiments in this set.

I started this one layer card by blending some Date Night Mini Inks onto an Ultra Smooth White Cardstock base in somewhat of a rainbow order. I then splattered the base with black paint, and stamped three main images from Natural Flourishes in  Midnight along with a sentiment from the set. Then, I splattered the card with opalescent paint for some added interest. Such a big bang with not too much effort!

Bold Bits

 One of my favorite sets from this release is the Bold Bits & Patterns Stamp Set. This set is part of the  is the Natural Flourishes Bundle, which packs a punch with another set, Natural Flourishes Stamp Set and the corresponding dies. Today I'm focusing on using these stamps as what the name entails, patterns! I first stamped the bold patterns Bold Bits & Patterns in a light color, then inked up the large leaf in Natural Flourishes in a bold color and kissed the stamps together, then stamped on the Ultra Smooth White Cardstock card panel. The inks I used are: Pink Champagne, Merlot, Clay Mask, Flame, Hot Tub, and Uptown.

I then added some accents in Midnight, and then finished with a sentiment panel white heat embossed in white from Natural Flourishes. The panel was mounted to a card base covered in Hot Tub. I can imagine this card in all sorts of color combinations and arrangements for a fun card set.
