Bamboo Anniversary

I've been meaning to post more cards that I made with the Catherine Pooler Designs Global Adventure Pt. Duex release but a few twists and turns in life came up these past few months. Remember, this was the release with the three revamped ink colors. The Adventure in Asia Bundle is still available in the store. 

For my card today, I started with an Ultra Smooth White Cardstock base and then again created a fun background with patterned paper, this time from the Parasols & Pagodas Patterned Paper Pack.

I used the partial die cutting technique to carve out room for a sentiment. The Happy x3 Dies were perfect for this technique, as I used the middle shadow die for the carve out and then layered a Polished ink covered thin "happy" on top. I finished the card with a Juniper Mist stamped sentiment from the retiring Happy Together stamp set.

Happy Mama

I have a super simple to make card today featuring items from Magnificent Mom Bundle, from Catherine Pooler Designs latest release Celebrate Spring. 

Onto an Ultra Smooth White Cardstock base, I adhered a panel from one of the patterns from the Happy Mama Patterned Paper Pack.

I created a sentiment panel with the smallest die cut from the Notecard Layers Dies and stamped a sentiment from the new Mothers & Daughters Sentiment Stamp Set in Twilight Ink. I accentuated the card with two direct ink to paper leaves covered in In the Park die cut from the Fresh Picked Floral Dies. I then added some Nuvo Drops.

I'm all about simple, but fun cards!

Clean and Green

I'm the host for this weekend for the challenge over at StampNation! I thought it would be super fun to create a clean and simple monochromatic card. Clean and Green for the upcoming St. Patrick's Day.

For my card today, I used just two stamps and four ink pads. In Spruce, I stamped one of the images from the Fresh Picked Floral Stamps on the left side, from bottom to top, and then stamped a sentiment from Mothers & Daughters Sentiment Stamp Set.

I then ink blended Melon Ice onto the card edges. Using the abstract circle stamp from Fresh Picked Florals, I added some shading in Lime Rickey to the florals, and then also used the Garden Party Ink in the set of three dots included in the set as well.

It is so fun to stretch supplies and create monochromatic cards. I hope that you have a change to join in!

Abstract Field of Flowers

Catherine Pooler Designs newest collection, Celebrate Spring is now released and it is absolutely fantastic! Each part of this collection is perfect for spring, Mother's Day and Easter, and of course other occasions. I once again have a clean and simple card featuring the Mothers & Daughters Sentiment Stamp Set and Fresh Picked Floral Stamp Set, which are available separately or are part of the Magnificent Mom Bundle. Onto an Ultra White Smooth Cardstock Base I stamped an arrangement of flowers from Fresh Picked Floral Stamp Set in Midnight Ink. I added the fun, abstract details with Flirty Fuchsia, Eucalyptus and Something Borrowed inks. Super simple to create arrangements because of the abstract style of the Fresh Picked Floral Stamp Set!

I finished the card by stamping a sentiment from the Mothers & Daughters Sentiment Stamp Set onto a panel cut from the Fitted Frames Dies. I popped the panel onto the card base and trimmed it down to a slim size. There are so many cute and fun items from the Celebrate Spring that are available now, can't wait to see what you create!
