Jingle Bells

Every year I look forward to participating in  Ellen Hutson’s 12 Tags of Christmas 2022 Challenge! This is my twelfth tag, and my favorite!

This tag was created for the carol "Jingle Bells” with Carly Minner on December 11th.
I didn't have any literal jingle bell stamps or dies on hand, but I did have this fabulous sentiment from Lil' Inker Designs. And you can't have a one horse open sleigh ride unless your fields are full of snow!
This is another open tag design.  I love the delicate look of it, as it has no backing. This tag would be one I would tie to a gift that I am giving in person, so the recipient knows who it is from.
All other supplies other than the sentiment are from Catherine Pooler Designs (affiliate link).

Mele Kalikimaka

Every year I look forward to participating in  Ellen Hutson’s 12 Tags of Christmas 2022 Challenge! You'll be seeing a slew of posts featuring a tag for each of the 12 days.

This tag was created for the carol "Mele Kalikimaka” with Therese Calvird  on December 3rd.
Bright, festive, happy and tropical is what I think of when I hear this song! I started with a plaid background and onto it added two tropical leaves and a fun pink snowflake. I then added some Nuvo Drops and a sentiment. All stamp, dies and paper are from Catherine Pooler Designs (affiliate link). The tag is an old die from Papertrey Ink. The silk ribbon tie is from May Arts.
This tag makes me happy, I love this unconventional holiday song and the unconventional holiday colors.

Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer

Every year I look forward to participating in  Ellen Hutson’s 12 Tags of Christmas 2022 Challenge! You'll be seeing a slew of posts featuring a tag for each of the 12 days.

This tag was created for the carol “Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer” with Daniel West on December 9th.
Although not my most favorite carols, I went a vintage route (because some grandmas are old, right?) with a stamped reindeer image from Lil' Inker Designs onto a die cut circle from Catherine Pooler Designs (affiliate link). I ink blended the edges, and loosely colored the image with colored pencils. The sentiment was chosen because I'd be wishing someone comfort if they were hurt by a reindeer! I finished the card with some clear pink Nuvo Drops for berries and some natural string twine from May Arts.

I’ll Be Home For Christmas

Every year I look forward to participating in  Ellen Hutson’s 12 Tags of Christmas 2022 Challenge! You'll be seeing a slew of posts featuring a tag for each of the 12 days.

This tag was created for the carol “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” with Tiffany Pryce Russom
on December 8th.
This image and die from Catherine Pooler Designs (affiliate link) was just meant for this song! Any close family that I have (other than my boys) requires a drive to get together. Although I might not come with that many gifts, I still feel like quite the elf sometimes! The image was colored "loosely" with prismacolor pencils for an old time vintage look. The sheer ribbon tie is from May Arts.

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer

Every year I look forward to participating in  Ellen Hutson’s 12 Tags of Christmas 2022 Challenge! You'll be seeing a slew of posts featuring a tag for each of the 12 days.

This tag was created for the carol “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer” with Ellen Hutson's post
on December 12th. Ellen is such a gem for the crafty industry, she is heartfelt and her products are amazing.
I tried a new style of tag this year, this is one where you would adorn a package that you give in person, so the recipient knows who the gift is from. It is a see through tag as it doesn't have a base. I started with a scalloped tag "outline" from Catherine Pooler Designs (affiliate link) and adorned it with a reindeer die cut from Lil' Inker Designs. I finished with some black twine and of course, a red gem for Rudolph's nose!

Deck the Halls

Every year I look forward to participating in  Ellen Hutson’s 12 Tags of Christmas 2022 Challenge! You'll be seeing a slew of posts featuring a tag for each of the 12 days.

This tag was created for the carol "Deck the Halls” with Vera Kuprick on December 4th.
For this tag, I went a bit abstract. I chose some die cuts that reminded me of holly (leaves and firs) and then added some Nuvo Drop berries for decking the halls with boughs of holly. I loved creating a little ensemble...it made me happy and this song I always have to sing aloud! I adhered the boughs to a bright green, happy circle and then that went onto a tag covered in holly and berries!
Dies, stamps and patterned paper are from Catherine Pooler Designs (affiliate link). The tag is an old die from Papertrey Ink. The sheer ribbon tie is from May Arts.

Let it Snow

Every year I look forward to participating in  Ellen Hutson’s 12 Tags of Christmas 2022 Challenge! You'll be seeing a slew of posts featuring a tag for each of the 12 days.

This tag was created with the carol "Let it Snow” with Angela Simpson on December 6th.
I went moody with this card, as I wanted many, many snowflakes to fall from a night sky. Let it snow!
I started by ink blending a variety of purple inks onto a tag, then splattered with water. I then stamped a sentiment, heat embossed in some clear sparkles, and then filled in with some other purple snowflakes to create a flurry.
All products, including the tag, are from Catherine Pooler Designs (affiliate link). The sheer ribbon tie is from May Arts.

Winter Wonderland

Every year I look forward to participating in  Ellen Hutson’s 12 Tags of Christmas 2022 Challenge! You'll be seeing a slew of posts featuring a tag for each of the 12 days.

This tag was created with the carol Winter Wonderland” with Jeannie Lieu on December 2nd.
We received our first snowfall of the season, a whopping 7 inches! I love the look of the trees heavy laden with the fresh snow, so this evergreen tree topped with a star reminded me of a Winter Wonderland. It was stamped and heat embossed onto a blue inked tag and then splattered with opal paint. I finished with a sentiment. All products, including the tag, are from Catherine Pooler Designs (affiliate link). The sheer ribbon tie is from May Arts.

Frosty the Snowman

Every year I look forward to participating in  Ellen Hutson’s 12 Tags of Christmas 2022 Challenge! You'll be seeing a slew of posts featuring a tag for each of the 12 days.

This tag was created for the carol “Frosty the Snowman” with Amy Tsuruta on Day 10.
I started the tag by die cutting a snowman, complete with a hat and scarf from Catherine Pooler Designs (affiliate link) onto some shimmery striped paper. I then stamped and heat embossed the hat and scarf, along with the eyes and carrot nose. I do know that Frosty has a button nose, but the carrot just looked cuter! Amy has been a long time supporter in the crafty industry, and an extraordinary designer. I was happy to create this Frosty tag in honor of her!
Dies, stamps and twine are from Catherine Pooler Designs.

Holly Jolly Christmas

Every year I look forward to participating in  Ellen Hutson’s 12 Tags of Christmas 2022 Challenge! You'll be seeing a slew of posts featuring a tag for each of the 12 days.

This tag was created for the carol "Holly Jolly Christmas” with Carissa Wiley post on December 1st. This set from Catherine Pooler Designs (affiliate link) just makes me smile so. The dog sitting on top of the presents looks so happy, he is spreading cheer and jolly everywhere! I added a heat embossed sentiment strip with the word Jolly and now I can't stop singing the song!
This tag is a bit more cheeky than Carissa's sleek and spectacular designs, but it makes me smile!
Patterned paper, dies and stamps and the twine are from Catherine Pooler Designs.
