For You
His little chubby hands reached down and ever so gently he snipped one dandelion from the ground in a field of what seemed to be thousands. There must have been something special about the one he chose. He then cautiously walked over to his mama and handed her his precious gift, the biggest smile and leftover spaghettios dominating his face. "Here Mama, for You..."
Aah, I've received many a bouquets from my little ones, but that first weed will forever be my favorite...I printed a dandelion poem in script on some cream paper to provide a background for the two dandelions and mounted the panel onto kraft adding just a few embellishments and details along the way.
Thank you for the bottom of my heart to everyone that voted, and cast their vote my way for the last round of Papercraft's Gallery Idol Competition! The butterflies sure where turnin' last night and this morning I woke extra early to discover I moved on in the competition. It continues to be a bittersweet journey, I am so fortunate to have met some talented ladies that I can now call friends. I couldn't have cracked the top 10 without your encouragement and kind words, thank you!
