Discovering


I discovered something new. Something fun. And produced a lot of objects from learning this new to me technique. Does this ever happen to you?

The Play Date Cafe is celebrating one year of challenges with an absolutely beautiful color combination, and I wanted to make sure I helped celebrate-even though the idea in my head didn't come out exactly as planned. Does this ever happen to you?

    I keep hearing about these coffee filter flowers but now I'm in love with them. Gorgeous Karen, thanks for pointing the way to the tutorial. What a beautiful card!
    And yes, that happens to me all the time, with varying results :)

    Just beautiful! The roses seem to be climbing up the ropes . . . the golden sparkle is awesome against the pinks of the flowers. Delicious colors! Nice work!

    Oh so pretty! I can't imagine how what you were envisioning could be better than this. Nothing I create ever comes out just as I planned, it's always a work in progress that shifts and changes just a little along the way!

    Wow, this is stunningly fancy, Karen! I love those gorgeous flowers and the way you left the twine ties at the top of the card. I've made a lot of cards that didn't turn out even close to what I planned but I loved them anyway!
