Good Things

Good things are celebrating at the amazement of ten tiny toes and ten tiny fingers. Good things are the scent pink baby lotion that engulfs their little body into a world of innocence. Good things are the peaceful breaths that come out of their small o shaped mouth, knowing that they don't have a care in the world
...Good things are little nephews...


I've been staring at this photo for months now, as it is taped close to the computer screen and decided that it deserved to be scrapbooked. With a little help from the sketch at Artful Delight, it now has a proper home. I pulled out the Freshprint Clothesline line from Little Yellow Bicycle too, it has set a whole year unused since I had won it last year in Gallery Idol. Moxie Fab World has a Beautiful Borders Challenge going on, and although there certainly isn't anything crazingly innovative, it helped me pull out some items from the collection and actually use them in a different way. I guess I've realized things shouldn't sit around anymore, especially my pictures.

Speaking of Gallery Idol, congratulations to the top 20 in 2011! It is so great to see so many talented people being recognized. I wish you ladies the best of luck in the weeks to come!

    Oh firstly what a super gorgeous photo, I can understand looking at a photo for a long time, I think it is waiting for us to put it on the perfect layout, you have sure done this, I love the colour scheme, elegant, and well just perfect. Now you have inspired me to go and scrap. MElx

    What a treat to see a layout you've done! This has such a peaceful look to it with just the right amount of embellishment, keeping your beautiful nephew the center of attention. Makes me think I should get to work on my scrapbook soon!

    oh this is just fabulous! Cute photo, fantastic colour scheme (perfectly soft but masculine too), appropriate embellishments (the measuring tape is awesome!), the addition of texture (I'm so stealing that scored lines idea!!!!) and above all - your clean and simple style shining through in all its glory :-)
