I am blessed with so many things.
As my birthday week ends and the month of thanksgiving starts shorty
I recall just a few things I am thankful for:
My two wonderful, full of life and health boys,
my handy husband, doting parents, superb sisters,
an old dog who acts like a pup and a breath of fresh air.
I am blessed to have a hobby I love,
strangers that I call friends who support and encourage me,
inspiration that I find by visiting your blogs
and tips, tricks and lessons I learn when you share your creativity.

    You stamped a gorgeous butterfly on clear acetate. I haven't tried it myself yet, but it's on my to-do list! :)

    I recall a time when I wanted to delve into distressing and your use of ink helped me try it! There are many things you do on your projects that inspire me, too many to list!

    I love the natural materials you use in your cards. I love today's rusty bucket with grains and the one the other week when you went out in the dark and your son joined you in looking for wheat grass... great story and stunning card.

    I love the turkey made from hand prints, just brilliant.
    You use so many techniques like misting, I've tried or creatively using ribbon in different ways I'm yet to try but your rustic CAS designs are what inspire me most.

    Okay, so I just checked in my inspiration folder and you are featured there 5 times. 4 of the 5 cards I kept because of your layout! so clearly I love your sense of design. But I've got to say, as I sit here and think "what makes me keep coming back to the bald dragonfly?" I'd have to say it is when you incorporate interesting items in your cards (sticks, wheat, etc.) or your attention to details (rusty bucket for example)

    So I haven't tried it yet but I want to do the embossing on acetate like you did with the butterfly and I am dying to get a wood grain embossing folder. Can't find one local and just haven't ordered it yet. :-)

    I've gleaned inspiration from so much of your work and tips but the thing that really inspires me is your use of things other than "craft" items in your projects. It helps me to think "outside the box". Thanks and big hugs to you, sharon :o)

    What inspires me most...is your willingness to put ANYTHING and I mean ANYTHING on your card and you make it work, girl! I have yet to put a branch on my card...but one day I will-when I find the perfect branch!!!

    Firstly - that painting is adorable! :)
    I know straight-away what you've inspired me to try and do. The first thing is to purchase some Glimmer Mist (which although I'm still kinda scared of, do try to dare myself to use once in a while!) and secondly, it was you who inspired me to look at everyday household objects in a different light for my crafting. I think it was the guy card in which you used nuts on (as in nuts and bolts!) which gave me a total light-bulb moment!

    Generally, it's your clean and simple style, something I have real trouble with. Seeing your examples has been a little tutorial of sorts. And specifically, your O Holy Night card reminded me to get out my gold embossing powder - I plan to do a similar design for my Christmas cards this year using a nativity scene embossed in gold on a blue card; I used this combination a number of years ago for my Christmas cards, and I think it's perfect for the holidays.

    One technique that you are known for that inspires me is your use of spray mist. I have yet to try it but have been wanting too!

    That turkey rocks! How brilliant to use a footprint as well as the handprints. :)

    I am totally inspired by your misting although I have yet to take a crack at it myself. I also love how you've been incorporating so many natural elements lately. Finally, I am totally inspired by the writing on your blog and how your stories are as beautiful and fun as your cards. :)
