Bun

I always thought it would have been fun to don a white apron and hair net for Halloween, a few months before my first born arrived. You see, I would have been a Baker with a Bun in the Oven. Yeah, it never happened because I was too shy, but I still think it would have been the most fun of "outfits."

Lawn Fawn is having a contest to make a few cards for their CHA show and catalog and I thought it would be fun to try my hand at a few entries with the Plus One set. (Thanks Jen!) This one above is bold, bright and a bit of retro. A touch of glossy accents for the oven window completes the card.

This one is soft, sweet and my take on vintage/shabby chic. I used the little stamps from the set to create patterned paper.

Lots to do today like taking down the decorations and cleaning. The house always looks empty when that happens.

  12. Hi Karen,

Your oven card is so original, haven't seen anything like that over here. The G.A. looks so realistic on the door.
I took all my cards and decs down yesterday and put them all back in the loft and then realised the wreath was still on the front door. Doh!
