"From her pathway of flowers that in the spring time upstart
She walketh the tenderer way in my heart
And, oh, it is always the summer-time here
With that song of "I love you," my Little-Oh-Dear!"
~Eugene Field
Skipping Stones Design has a new sketch this week for you all to play along with (there's a chance to win a free set!) plus we have a hop to feature the newest set, Heartsong 2! I'm really excited about this set because I got to help with the sentiment design. Also, I'm the first on the hop! All the details for the sketch challenge as well as the hop details can be found on the Skipping Stones Design Blog. A few details: I extended the length of the branch with some selective masking and added the beautiful leafy branch behind my main image. I used the beautiful color combination from CR8FN to help with the colors on my card today.
I created another card using this same sketch! (A bonus, because I didn't fully read the directions for the design team and had to quickly create the card above!)
This card features the Skipping Stones Design sets Timeless Textures, Garden Kiss and Blissful Botanicals. I also worked in the colors from the Play Date Cafe, such a refreshing color palette.
I hope you have a great time on the hop and gather all sorts of inspiration. Your next stop is Pamela !
