Sometimes there is just something about a stamp set that makes you *have* to have it, and then that one opens your eyes to many others made by the manufacturer... and then you are hopelessly lost...
For me it was the many awesome texture and background stamps available at Skipping Stones Design! Yep, I'm talking about Grunge. It is not just a masculine stamp set, there are a lot of possibilities to dress the set up, such as tone on tone heat embossing for a lacy effect. Ooh, pretty!
The colors of my card were inspired by the latest Play Date Cafe Color Challenge, black and white with a splash of mustard. (Perhaps my mustard might squirted out a bit too much, oops!)
I encourage you to bring out those stamps sets that you *had* to have and use them again if they've fallen to the wayside. Something gorgeous could happen and I'd love to see it!

ReplyDeleteYou've inspired me, will pull out Grunge again (since I won it thanks to YOU!). I gave the wine label with the Aubrey Inspired sentiment to my friends who I went camping with and they loved it and I got to drink the wine with them :)
