Big Love


I know that I have to hold onto these days tight. These are the days that my youngest still thinks it is all right to give his mama a big hug, and a wet, sloppy kiss. These are the days that his little heart shows his big love for his mama, instead of keeping it closed up tight. I'll take those hard, tight hugs and big, sloppy kisses...as many as he wants to give me.

This card features everything from the Artful Delight November Card Kit! I colored the "love" word with markers and stitched it onto the canvas heart and then onto the card base. Makes quite an impact, don't you think...especially with the bold black card base?

    Awesome big heart and stitched love....such a fab card! Time flies with kids...I can't believe mine are 15 & 17.

    Oh this makes my heart happy and sad. Thankfully two of mine give kisses freely. I love your card. Makes my heart heavy that the kisses do go away. My oldest will give me real hugs. Thankfully....

    I love that you got love and turned it pink, grin... great way to use the heart (considering mine got cut to pieces, but no broken heart over here, I promise).

    Just hold unto it and when he closes that up for awhile just remember that it will appear again! My son is grown and married and he thinks nothing of giving me a big hug or kiss on the check no matter where we are. My mom laughs at the fact that he will hug his grandpa in the middle of McDonalds...so sweet! Pretty card, love the fabric heart and pop of hot pink!

    I'm with you on the joy of unselfconscious hugs and kisses from our boys! They are definitely something to be treasured. :) I love the stark contrast of the black card base with the bright pink sentiment on your card, and the texture of the heart and stitching just takes it over the top!
