Remember how I walked away, Mother, on tiny feet, my first school day?
With tiny hands I waved goodbye, and I saw he tear in the corner of your eye.
But you were brave and so was I, we both tried hard not to cry...
Then on the last day of school, as we all wave goodbye,
do you supposed the teacher will have a tear in her eye?

He really enjoyed his year and she was an amazing teacher,
I give her props for teaching as hard and as well as she did!
