There is something about seeing two mourning does side by side perched on a telephone wire that melts my heart. These creatures know what it is like to find someone that they'd like to be with for the rest of their lives...
Inspired by the latest
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge to create something "new", I worked with my
Wplus9's Love Birds and
Folk Art Dies to make a wedding card to congratulate a couple on their new life together as a couple. I chose a sentiment from
Lil' Inker Design's Sending Pretty Mail Stamp Set and the "wire" is
May Art's Black Burlap String.
Lovely card!

ReplyDeleteKaren, it took me a while to figure out who was leaving me such sweet comments! So glad I finally clicked on your icon. Thanks for visiting me, I'll try to do the same! I remember loving your CAS style--I still do! Happy New Year!

ReplyDeleteKaren, thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving comments. It has been awhile since I have commented on blogs. It got to a point where it had just become too time consuming. I have continued to follow blogs through blogger but rarely visit individual blogs. I mostly view them from the blogger dashboard. When I visited your blog this morning, I thought I had the wrong Karen B. You have updated your profile photo and I have to say I absolutely love your new hair style! It is a fun, sophisticated style and it looks wonderful on you. I hope things are going well for you and your boys. Happy Crafting!
