I could get used to coloring a bit every day, it is quite relaxing!
After watching the video for Day 3 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge I really wanted to try a few techniques that Kathy brought up: 1. Make an image look a bit faded by lifting color with a lighter color (she used the 0 Copic, I used the W1 Warm Gray) and 2. Add a bit of rosey colors to the cheeks of a cute animal. I started by stamping a die cutting the cute raccoon from Lil' Inker Designs Lovie Stamp Set and Dies. I then colored him in "krafty" colors and the balloon red with Copic markers, applying the techniques mentioned above. My colors were derived from the ones at ColourQ Challenge #137. I then created the card with a some banner dies and a die cut stitched square fro LID and May Arts Natural Burlap String, applying the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #222.
I am also entering this in to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Have a Heart.
