"Flowers always make people better, happier, and more helpful; they are sunshine,
food and medicine for the soul." ~Luther Burbank
I recently purchased some paper crafty friends recommended for Zig Coloring and I don't think I will put these markers down now! The Strathmore Bristol Smooth Paper is perfect for this medium.
I created a floral array, stamping in gray and coloring in with the zig markers. I added a sentiment from Essentials by Ellen 12 Days Companion Greetings Stamp Set (I thought the clean and precise font was a perfect match for the flowers from Altenew's Beautiful Day Stamp Set) and then adhered this panel onto a gray card base. I bordered the panel with some gray stripe washi tape and finished the card with a bow from white embroidery floss.
The design, colors and use of the striped border on my card was inspired by the

What a gorgeous card! I am enchanted with the pastel colors you've used - they somehow feel soft, yet bright. And that blue background with the perfect amount of white space for your sentiment. It all is balanced beautifully by the graphic black and white stripe on the left! Such an elegant card - thanks for posting it over on the SSS blog (where I saw it). Definitely a "not to be missed" design! :)
