Cardinal

If I look outside, I would see piles and piles of snow and fields of white...and if by chance, I would see a bright spot of red in the tree. A cardinal. They are breathtaking in my winter's snowy backyard.

I received Hero Art's Layering Cardinal Stamp and Die Set as a Christmas Gift and decided that A Blog Named Hero's New To Me Challenge was the perfect reason to get it inky. It is a beautiful set! I paired it with some patterned paper and a sentiment from Right at Home's Script Greeting Stamp Set.

  1. I love cardinals! I'm always happy to see one pop up when I'm outside in the trees taking care of the cats. This guy is as handsome as they come. :)

  2. The pop of red from the bird and the black chevron strip are so eye catching, love this design! My daughter got a bird feeder for Christmas and we've been graced with the appearance of a beautiful, bright cardinal on occasion lately!

  4. Wow beautiful. I love the colors for the cardinal. I think if blues were used could pass for a steller jay which we have a lot of. I love this card and the strips.. Awesome
