My first project features the the super elegant and versatile Modern Mandala Stamp Set and Modern Mandala Dies. There are three beautiful mandalas and nine sentiments to work with! I started with a stark white, clean, which card base and stamped two of the same mandalas with dark grey ink on the bottom third of the card front.
I then stamped onto blue cardstock the same mandala, and die cut it out. I added white gel pen accents and some mercury Nuvo Drops to embellish the mandala. This mandala was added with dimensional adhesive, and then with more dimensional adhesive, I added a white heat embossed sentiment that was die cut with the banner die included in the Modern Mandala Dies. These two products have everything you need for all sorts of cards!
The Ever Stamp Set and Ever Word Die is another elegant stamp and die set from this release. For this card, I started by prepping my sentiment by die cutting the word Ever and coating it with some antique colored embossing powder. I then stamped an older release set, Corner Adorner, in the corner, gold heat embossed it and outlined the image with copics. I then finished the sentiment with the coordinating sentiments from the Ever Stamp Set.
I love the look of heat embossing, but wow, is it a bugger to photograph. Does anyone have any tips for me, please?
