Creating with Right at Home Stamps and Catherine Pooler Inks is an ideal combination.
They just work together and go together, like peanut butter and jelly!
Today I'm participating in a blog hop featuring Right At Home Stamps and Catherine Pooler Inks. You can find the complete details and participating blogs on the Right at Home Blog.
I was drawn to the Abstract Florals Stamp Set for its limitless possibilities. I knew that the solid flowers would stamp so well with Catherine Pooler Inks! I started with Sand Dunes Card Stock (affiliate link used) and created flowers with the following inks: Melon Ice and Lime Rickey for the leaves and stems, and for the flower tops I used Tiara and Sauna, Bellini and Mandarin Orange, and It's a Girl and Party Dress.
I mounted the panel onto some pink cardstock and found coordinating Nuvo Drops to add to the base of the flower, along with doodling three black dots. I finished the card with the perfect, petite sentiment from Right At Home's Tiny Sentiments Stamp Set.
This next card also features Abstract Florals Stamp Set, but I wanted to showcase how the elements could make something other than flowers! I created little bees flying through clouds with the stamps in the set. The bee bodies were stamped with Tiara Ink, the wings with Black Jack and second generation Black Jack stamping, and Midnight for the stripes. I used a black pen to create the eyes and stingers. The clouds were stamped in It's A Boy Ink, with second generation stamping as well. The flying wind and dots were stamped with Soft Stone Ink.
I finished the card with a custom colored sentiment panel (I swiped Soft Stone Ink onto white cardstock) and then stamped a sentiment from Tiny Sentiments Stamp Set.
Here's a listing of the participating blogs today:
