Today is the first of three days of the Lil' Inker Designs July 2018 Release Showcase... Once again, we have a fabulous hop for you featuring new stamps and dies. This release from Lil' Inker Designs is as cute and fun as can be. If you are following the hop, you should have arrived from the ever so talented Jen Carter's Blog! (Visit the Lil' Inker Design's Blog for the full link up.)
My first card features a couple of the new items. I started with a pink card base and used the Perfect Palette Cover Up Die (affiliate links used) as a template to stamp and heat emboss with black some of the fun circle images from Spiffy Spots. The stamp set, Spiffy Spots, is so much fun and versatile to be used on it's own, but pairing it with the Perfect Palette Cover Up Die is a match made in heaven.
I then added a white panel cut from the Perfect Palette Cover Up Die and adhered it at a jaunty angle, then finished the card by stamping a sentiment from Spiffy Spots, following the edge of the Perfect Palette Cover Up Die for something a bit different.
I was so inspired by the name of the Perfect Palette Cover Up Die that I decided to make my next card resemble an eyeshadow palette, complete with mattes and shimmers! I started again with a pink card base, added areas of ink to a white piece of card stock trimmed just so it fits behind the Perfect Palette Cover Up Die and then topped the colors off with a gray palette made with the Perfect Palette Cover Up Die.
I added some shimmer to the pots with a Wink of Stella Pen, then a sentiment from a previously released Lil' Inker Designs stamp set called Mirror, Mirror (currently out of stock, boo!). The inside reads: How am I supposed to remember your birthday when you never look any older? I thought it was so fitting with the whole eyeshadow palette look!
It is with pleasure that I get to send you to the talented Kimberly Rendino, as the next stop along the hop. I hope you get a chance to visit the Lil' Inker Designs Store now as products are already up at the store!!
Don't forget to leave a unique comment along the each of the stops on the hop! You can win the ENTIRE release by leaving unique comments on each of the stops along the hop each day!
