Today is the second of three days of the Lil' Inker Designs December 2018 Release Showcase... Once again, we have a fabulous hop for you featuring new stamps and dies. This release from Lil' Inker Designs is full of trendy, on-point and versatile cozy winter items! If you are following the hop, you should have arrived from the ever so talented Jen Carter's Blog! My first project is a cute little scene featuring the adorable penguins from the Good Cheer Stamp Set. They were colored with Copics and embellished with a glitter pen, then die cut from the coordinating Good Cheer Dies.
The little penguins from Good Cheer Stamp Set made their way onto another card I'm showcasing today. The background was quick and easy, but packs a punch! I simply stamped the buffalo plaid background stamp from the Cozy Plaid Stamp Set with black ink onto some fuchsia paper. I then stamped, die cut and colored the penguins and added them to the card as well.
I added some wintery, glittery hills created from the Border Builders Die Set, then adhered them to a blue card base stamped with some pretty little snowflakes from the Good Cheer Stamp Set. I finished with a sentiment from Good Cheer Stamp Set.
The little penguins from Good Cheer Stamp Set made their way onto another card I'm showcasing today. The background was quick and easy, but packs a punch! I simply stamped the buffalo plaid background stamp from the Cozy Plaid Stamp Set with black ink onto some fuchsia paper. I then stamped, die cut and colored the penguins and added them to the card as well.
The sentiment was created from the Hugs Word Die Set and the "Hugs" word stamp from Cozy Plaid Stamp Set. I love this set because 1. it has the large, amazing buffalo plaid background stamp plus 2. many coordinating sentiments to use with the large sentiment stamp!

ReplyDeleteKaren, these are great. I always love a snow scene on a Christmas/winter birthday card and this is so cute with these playful penguins. I LOVE the plaid Birthday hugs card. Both of our little grandsons LOVE buffalo plaid (I got them red/black plaid housecoats for Xmas b/c they begged their Mom for them while shopping.), and they both have birthdays coming right up after Christmas. So I KNOW that they would love this card. Well done.

ReplyDeleteThe penguins at play in the first one makes me think of the scene in The Bishop's Wife where the bishop's daughter wants to be in the snowball fight with the "big kids" and Cary Grant's character lends an aid. :) And the second has the beautiful fuchsia plaid background. Love this new Buffalo Plaid stamp and that color combination of fuchsia and black!! Great cards!!

ReplyDeleteThese penguins are so cute and they look like they are having so much fun! The Buffalo Plaid stamped on the fuchsia is amazing! It is so bold and really makes a statement. This would be fun for Valentine's Day too.
