Lil' Inker Designs:: May 2019 Release:: Day 2

Today marks the second of three days of the Lil' Inker Designs May 2019 Release Showcase... I hope you are enjoying tropical and butterfly vibe that  Lil' Inker Designs has featured with this release! I'm starting off today again with the fun Think Happy Thoughts Tropical Stamps and Hawaiian Word Dies. I used a colored card base and stamped a combination of one of the solid and out-lined leaf images from the set to create a fun patterned background. I then stamped, colored and die cut images from Think Happy Thoughts Tropical Stamps and Think Happy Thoughts Tropical Dies. I arranged them around the fun aloha sentiment from the Hawaiian Word Dies.

My next project features the profoundly beautiful Cover Up Die: Butterfly. It is so easy to create an impactful card with this die. I inked a "sky" onto a white card base, then die cut the butterfly from black paper. I filled in the cut areas in the wings with some Nuvo Drops, and added dimension with a Copic Marker after the drops were dried. I finished the card with some additional Nuvo Drops on the wings, and a sentiment from Spread Your Wings Stamp Set.
