Are you ready for Catherine Pooler Designs newest release, the Unsinkable Collection? It's available today! I don't live any where close to an ocean , but I seriously loved working with this collection and it has become one of my favorites for it's versatility!
As usual, there is a fabulous blog hop with the design team and guests for the release.
I'm starting off with my favorite card made from some of the many products in this release. My card base is the made from the awesome Ultra Smooth White Cardstock, which is the perfect cardstock for bases as well as die cuts, coloring, well, pretty much anything! I added a panel from Midnight Cardstock that has been embossed with the wave stamp from the Hook, Line and Sinker Stamp Set using the quality Wow Embossing Pad and Clear Embossing Powder. I then die cut an anchor, rope and from Refuse to Sink Die Set, stamping the rope with the Refuse to Sink Stamp Set and coloring the anchor with alcohol inks. This anchor is seriously theeee perfect size!
I finished the card with a stamped sentiment from Hook, Line and Sinker and then added a die cut word from the Hello Die. So awesome that the stamps from this release work so well with so many word dies previously released!
My second card starts with a card base made from Sand Dunes Cardstock. I inked a mixture of Suede Shoes, All that Jazz, and Fiesta Blue Inks over the absolutely beautiful new, Shell Parade Stencil. I then stamped and die cut the cute crabs (I think it is my most favorite single stamp of the entire release! Look how cute they are!!) from the Hook, Line and Sinker Stamp Set and Dies.
Please be sure to hop and comment, as there are prizes! One winner will be chosen to receive a $25 gift certificate to the Catherine Pooler Store! Winners will be announced on Catherine's blog on Announced Monday evening, August, 12th.
The Catherine Pooler supplies I've used are linked (affiliate links used at no cost to you, I sure appreciate your support!) in the body of my post, I hope you have a chance to check them out!
I LOVE your cards! The anchor is a great size and steals the show in your first card, but the subtle clear embossing of the waves gives it that little something extra. In your second card it's the tiniest image, the crab, who steals the show! I love how they appear playful against the kraft and blue background. Kraft evoking sand and blue the sea. Wonderful cards!
