It's National Ice Cream Day and Ellen Hutson and Catherine Pooler Designs are teaming up with a sweet hop to highlight the day with their fabulous sets!
Everyone on the hop today is featuring Catherine Poolers's cute I Scream You Scream Stamp Set and Ellen Hutson's Leading Ladies - Little Gentelman and Leading Ladies- Little Lady stamp sets. For this first card, I am featuring both of these cutie pies (colored with Copics) saluting to their ice cream treats!
The background was created by ink blending Grass Skirt Ink and splattered with the same ink as well. I finished the card by adding border from Bordering Sweet Borders Die and a sentiment from Amazing Florals paired with the Sweet Die.
This next card features the same products...This time I created a background with the awesome ice cream truck from I Scream You Scream and then customized the little lady with colored pencils and a white gel pen.
I colored all images featured on these cards while waiting for my son to finish baseball practice! Summer is such a busy time, but I try to get in some crafting on the go whenever I can, which often means at the ballpark!
I prestamp my images and then load them onto a standard clipboard. I have carrying cases for both my copics and colored pencils, as well as my zig markers, so I pretty much grab the medium I am working with and carry-on! I hope that you get some crafty time in this summer, even if it means you are on the go when you do so!

ReplyDeleteVery cute cards - nice bright colors.
ReplyDeleteGreat cards!! Beautifully designed and colored!! I just ordered cases for hold my pencils and copics so I can take them camping or on vacation. I sometimes stamp out images and bring whatever media and take them downstairs so I can color in front of the TV or outside or on the back deck. It’s nice sometimes to leave the craftroom.
