A Flutters & Blooms Shaker

Today is the day that the Flutters and Blooms Release is available from Catherine Pooler Designs!  As I mentioned yesterday, the collection does have an array of flutters and blooms, but true to the Catherine Pooler Designs style, she has also included some everyday, essential stamp sets into the collection as well, like this Big Thanks Stamp Set that I cannot stop using, and as always a lovely paper pack too. The Big Thanks Stamp Set and Flutters & Blooms Patterned Paper are just two items that are part of the Flutter Bundle.

Today I went outside my comfort zone and decided to showcase one pattern from the lovely Flutters & Blooms Patterned Paper. I started with a base of Ultra Smooth White Cardstock, of course. I then cut a piece of the Patterned Paper slightly smaller than the card front and used the Wings of Joy Dies to die cut an arrangement of blooms. I heat embossed both the big Thanks from the Big Thanks Stamp Set in white. Then, carefully, stamped and heat embossed the word "you" from the same stamp set over the top of the Thanks, and colored it in with a Copic Marker that perfectly matches Sangria Ink. I lifted this card panel with foam adhesive, backed the blooms with some acetate sheets and added some sequins from the Mission Sequin Mix.
