A Fluid Rainbow

Rainbows are quite the rage in the crafting world...classic rainbow shapes and classic rainbow colors. I wanted to join in on Ashlee's Rainbow Challenge that she is hosting over at StampNation, and created this card. (StampNation is an online resource where "paper crafters share the love of stamping and card making!) I know it is not the traditional rainbows, but the colors are there (with the exception of purple). I had all the colors of ink pads laid out in front of me, and ran out of room for purple.

I started by filling a card front of Ultra Smooth White Cardstock with the One in a Million Floral Stamp Set in Black Jack Ink. I then used used a mixture of Coral Cabana, Bellini, Limoncello, Sage and Stone Blue inks with a blender brush to loosely color in the flowers, berries and leaves. I added just a bit of water droplets, just because I love how Catherine Pooler Inks reacts with water.

I stamped a sentiment panel stamped in Black Jack Ink with a sentiment from Faithful Flutterings Stamp Set. This was popped up on the card front with foam adhesive and then a few sequins were added to complete the card.
