Welcome to the Catherine Pooler Designs and CAS-ual Fridays Blog Hop! We are featuring the fun stamps from CAS-ual Fridays and the amazing Carnivale Collection of Inks from Catherine Pooler Designs. If you are following along on the hop, you should have arrived from the talented Lisa!
My first card features the Happy Birthday Stamp Set and coordinating die cut from CAS-ual Fridays. I started with a card base made from Ultra Smooth White Cardstock. I then covered strips of paper with the Carnivale Inks, using the direct to paper technique to create custom colored cardstock. I adhered these at an angle on the card front, then die cut "happy birthday" from the the front as well.
I opened the flap and stamped the coordinating sentiment from the Happy Birthday Stamp Set in Midnight Ink on the inside of the card for a peek-a-boo card.
My second card features the same items, along with CAS-Fridays Jacks Stencil.
I dry embossed the stencil onto the card front of a card made from Ultra Smooth White Cardstock. I then die cut the word Birthday from the Happy Birthday Fri-Die. I covered the die cut with All That Jazz ink, adhering to the card front at an angle. I stamped the word "happy" in Midnight Ink using a stamp from Catherine Pooler Designs Happy Birthday Many Ways Stamp Set. I added a coordinating sentiment strip with a sentiment from the Happy Birthday Stamp Set onto a sentiment strip covered in Limoncello Ink.
The fun, vibrant colors of the Carnivale Collection of Inks from Catherine Pooler Designs paired with the fabulous products from CAS-ual Fridays is really a perfect pairing!
Your next stop on the hop is the fabulously talented Maria!
Not only are we showcasing how fun these two companies pair up together, there are also prizes. Both CAS-ual Fridays and Catherine Pooler Designs each have one $30 gift card to a random commenter. The winners will be announced Tuesday on the Catherine Pooler Designs and CAS-ual Fridays blogs.
