Catherine Pooler Designs:: Jolly Holiday Collection

Did you catch the live on Catherine Pooler's You Tube this afternoon showcasing the first items from the Jolly Holiday Collection?! I'm so excited to share a card for the Jolly Holiday Collection-the next release from Catherine Pooler Designs! This collection is a whimsical celebration of classic Christmas icons! There are images of elves and candy (clearly what the North Pole is made of), whooville trees and stockings and all the stuffers. As always, there are a few bundles to choose from too. The collection will be available Wednesday, September 16th at 9am EST (there is early ordering for StampNation Members- Tuesday the 15th at noon!)

The card I am showcasing today features the super fun Jolly Trees Stamp Set and Jolly Trees Dies. I started with a nice, smooth cardstock panel made with Ultra Smooth White Cardstock. I applied Be Mine ink direct to paper on the outside edges of the card base, and then stamped with the new Cranberry Fizz Ink the Painted Stripes Background Stamp on the front of the card base for a fun candy cane background. I die cut and stamped three of the whimsical trees from Jolly Trees with Melon Ice, Mardi Gras and the new Deck the Halls Ink and die cut them with the Jolly Trees Dies. Before adhering them to a white panel, I ink blended Suede Shoes to mimic rolling snow hills and splattered white paint.

I also added a few select "snowflakes" I finished the card with a beautiful die cut sentiment from the new Merry Christmas Word Die.
