Beautiful Day Dots

The newest release from Catherine Pooler Designs is almost here! Beautiful New Year is a mix of three bundles for the wrap up of the year with a "thanks" bundle, a "new years" bundle and a lovely "floral bundle"... just to hit all the card making basics! The collection will be available tomorrow, December 9th at 9am EST (early ordering tomorrow for StampNation Members today at noon!)

I am once again showcasing items from the Thanks Bundle and the Beautiful Day Bundle...both coordinate so well together and items can be used on their own. I started this card by stamping the florals from the Beautiful Day Floral Stamp Set with Midnight Ink onto a card base made from Ultra Smooth White Cardstock. I then added the lovely handwritten sentiment from the Sincere Thanks Stamp Set. 

With an idea from Jennifer McGuire, I "reverse colored" the image using markers around the edges of the stamp. For a final finishing touch, I tied the card with a bow from the amazing Midnight Twine. I love how beautiful this image is without having to be a master in coloring!
