A Blessed Shaker

How fun is it to create a card that showcases one word die? I did so with the Blessed Word Die available soon at Catherine Pooler Designs as part of their newest release, Spring Garden, releasing Wednesday, March 10th at 9am EST (early ordering for StampNation Members-today at noon!)

This month, Catherine Pooler Designs says hello to spring with the Spring Garden Mini Collection! This release brings three main image sets to celebrate the season and Easter!  Catherine Pooler Designs also will release the much anticipated Zen Garden Mini Ink collection! The Peony in Bloom Cover Plate Die, the Abundantly Blessed Stamp Set and the Blessed Word Die are part of the absolutely beautiful Blessed Bundle.

I started this card with an Ultra Smooth White Cardstock base, and then also die cut some strips from the previously released Mod Strips Cover Plate Die. I watercolored each strip with ink: Samba, Catching Rays,Do-si-Do and Orange Peel. Then I die cut two panels, using the Blessed Word Die, making sure to leave a border around the word. I adhered a piece of acetate between the two layers and before adhering the panel to the card, I added some Phoenix Sequins to create a shaker. I finished the card by adhering some sequins to the card front.
