Catherine Pooler Designs:: Waves of Happiness Release

Under the ocean or next to the sea...these are wonderful places to be! This month's theme with the newest release from Catherine Pooler Designs is all about the as part of the Waves of Happiness Release Mini Collection is all about our affinity for the seaside and a perfect way to introduce the new ink colors: Bay Breeze, Sea Glass,  Tranquil and Cove Blue. The release will be available Wednesday, May 12th for general release and tomorrow, Tuesday, May 11th for Stamp Nation Members.

I have some cute and fun cards to share for this release made with the Deep Sea Bundle, (and a few extras!) and I can't wait to share them with you.

As usual, my card today started with a Ultra Smooth White Cardstock panel, and I created the cool background by applying a mixture of Tranquil and Cove Blue onto the Making Waves Background Stamp. I cut the panel down and mounted it onto a Cardstock base where I added a strip of paper colored with Cove Blue using the direct ink to paper technique and a strip of glittered tape. I added a stamped sentiment from the Ocean Chums Stamp Set.

The super cool, super sweet focal point of the card is the amazing octopus from the Ocean Chums Stamp Set which was stamped simply in Cove Blue and accentuated with glue and glitter, then die cut using the coordinating Ocean Chums Dies.
