Doxie Party

As mentioned yesterday, the Make a Wish Release from Catherine Pooler Designs is almost here! Birthday Cards are some of my favorites to make and everyone needs some fresh birthday items for their crafty stash, right?!  The Make a Wish Release has some modern and trendy pieces for loads of fun. It also includes the second four Beach Retreat Inks in Sparkling Berry, Merlot, Clay Mask, and Serene! will be available Wednesday, July 14th for general release and Tuesday, July 13th for Stamp Nation Members.

I'm back with another card featuring the Doxie Party Bundle from the Make a Wish Release. Once again, I started with an Ultra Smooth White Cardstock, inking the edges with Lemongrass inks before adding a panel of the Cupcakes & Candles Patterned Paper. The panel was die cut with the Round of Happy Dies, as well as die cutting from White Cardstock. I colored the inner ring with Lemongrass and the outer ring with the words with Merlot. These were added to the card with a die-cut inlay technique.

I then added a doxie from the Doxie Birthday Party Stamp Set and die cut with Doxie Birthday Party Dies stamped in Clay Mask, along with balloons stamped in Sparkling Berry and Serene. The string die was stamped in Juniper Mist. I did cover the balloons with a glitter pen for added fun! Additionally, I colored in the nose and added an eye with black pen to the doxie.
