A Tree Shaker

The car from the Urban Holiday Bundle is utterly fantastic, however, the little tree in the Wrapped and Ready set holds it's own cuteness! I created an easy shaker for my card today.  

I first cut out a panel of Ultra Smooth White Cardstock from the Scallop & Dots Dies-which might be my new favorite die set ever...It pierces tiny holes on the inner frame and creates a lovely scallop border on the outside frame. I then covered the panel with a clear acetate enevelop and filled it in with some sequins from the Wintergreen Sequin Mix. I bordered the raised panel with a frame cut from the Decked Out Patterned Paper and cut with the Scallop & Dots Dies.

I topped the shaker with the cute tree from the Wrapped and Ready Stamp Set, colored with Catherine's collection of Copic Markers she's now carrying (as well as a gold pen), and die cut with the corresponding Wrapped and Ready Dies. I finished the card with a stamped sentiment the Near or Far Sentiment Stamp Set-this was my favorite combination of stamps from that set.

The end result is a super simple, well contained shaker that doesn't have too much bulk. I can't wait to send this to someone special this holiday season.
