Catherine Pooler Designs:: Uptown & Martini

 Catherine Pooler Designs is rounding out the Luxe Collection of Inks with six new colors, and let me tell you, they are absolutely beautiful! They compliment and fill in gaps of the Party Collection so well with their deep, vibrant colors. Let me introduce Uptown and Martini. They will be available Tuesday, October 12th for StampNation members and general release on Wednesday, October 13th.

For the first card, I've featured Uptown. Uptown is a bold, deeply saturated green-blue ink. It is deeper than Aquatini, and such a  nice compliment to it. Onto an Ultra Smooth White Cardstock, I stamped the three sections from the Marble Swirl Stamp Set in Uptown, Daydream and Skylight. I thought the colors created a cool, ocean visual so I stamped the turtle from Ocean Chums in Uptown, die cut it from the coordinating die set and then accentuated with some glitter. I finished the card with a direct to paper sentiment panel in Mint To Be Ink with the sentiment from Ocean Chums stamped in Uptown. I can already tell this is going to be one of my favorite new colors!

My next card showcases the new Martini ink! This color is a deep, saturated (of course!) yellow-green ink. It is such a lovely compliment to the other greens in both the Party and Spa collections. I started with an Ultra Smooth White Cardstock base and stamped the leaves and one pattern from the Painted Leaves Stamp Set.

The greens I used are Martini, Melon Ice, Garden Party, Grass Skirt, Lemongrass, Lime Rickey, Green Tea and Eucalyptus. I finished the card with a few banners from the Sentiment Banners Dies and Happy Birthday Many Ways Stamp Set in Martini.

These colors are soooooo rich and saturated and fit in with all the other colors so well! One more day to showcase the last two new inks!
