Whew! What a week! I started a new job this past week-in an office setting-so it's been trying and draining. I think I'll like it though, despite the driving. I've been working at home since the pandemic started, so it is a new adventure again to go back to being with people.
I wanted to share one of my favorite cards I made for the Catherine Pooler Designs Global Adventure Pt. Duex release. This is the release that also included the three revamped ink colors too. I tried my best to make the lanterns look glowing!
The items on my card today are part of the Adventure in Asia Bundle. I started by die cutting each lantern from the Lantern Festival Stamp Set with the corresponding Lantern Festival Dies onto Ultra Smooth White Cardstock. I then inked them up with Rouge and Glitz inks. I added my own details with a black pen, following the actual stamps as a guide as to where the lines went.
I then adhered them to a white cardstock base, stamping the hangers and tassels in Midnight, along with a sentiment from the Origami Cheers Sentiment Stamp Set. I love the look of the bright lanterns against the crisp, white background.
