Celebratory Lanterns

Catherine Pooler Designs and the Brand Ambassadors have been showcasing items from their next release, Global Adventure Pt. Duex last week and this week which also includes the three revamped ink colors! This collection has inspiration from a variety of traditions and cultural celebrations. Early ordering is just around the corner for StampNation members on Tuesday, January 11th at noon EST and ordering to the general public goes live on Wednesday, January 12th at 9am EST.

I am excited to work with products from the Adventure in Asia Bundle. The rich patterns and floral prints, paired with paper art in the form of lanterns and origami, come together in this bundle.

I created a shaker tag today, as the images and sentiments from the the Lantern Festival Stamp Set just called for one! I started by die cutting a tag from the Parasols & Pagoda Patterned Paper Pack with the previously released Tags, Etc. Die Set. Then I die cut another panel from the Scallops & Dots Die, also out of the Parasols & Pagoda Patterned Paper Pack. I die cut one of the lanterns from the Lantern Festival Dies, and added some Kyoto Sequins under the Plastic Window Sheet and before adhering the panel with Adhesive Foam Strips to the tag. I finished the tag by die cutting and stamping a hanger from the  Lantern Festival Stamp Set  and Dies, and a sentiment from the Lantern Festival Stamp Set in Juniper Mist Ink. The sentiment was stamped on a Sentiment Banner Die out of Ultra Smooth White Cardstock. I used the Morning Joe Border Dies covered in a Polished covered cardstock for a fun trim on the bottom.
