Silver Lanterns

Catherine Pooler Designs newest release, Global Adventure Pt. Duex,which also includes the three revamped ink colors is available now, January 11th at noon EST for StampNation Members and ordering to the general public goes live tomorrow Wednesday, January 12th at 9am EST.

I am excited to work with products from the Adventure in Asia Bundle. The rich patterns and floral prints, paired with paper art in the form of lanterns and origami, come together in this bundle. I went deep and rich with my card today, but you could easily change up the mood and look by using the new three revamped ink colors too!

I started with an panel that had been inked with Glam, Rouge and a bit of Glitz, and then die cut panel from the previously released Lava Lamp Cover Plate Die, keeping all the parts in tact. I thought the pattern went right along with the paper lantern theme! I then mounted the panel onto an Ultra Smooth White Cardstock. I then created the lanterns by stamping and silver heat embossing two of the lanterns from the  Lantern Festival Stamp Set that also had been die cut with the corresponding Lantern Festival Dies. I added a few touches with the hangers and tassels and then a heat embossed die cut sentiment from the previously released Round of Happy Dies, cutting out and using just the interior of the die.
