Bamboo Anniversary

I've been meaning to post more cards that I made with the Catherine Pooler Designs Global Adventure Pt. Duex release but a few twists and turns in life came up these past few months. Remember, this was the release with the three revamped ink colors. The Adventure in Asia Bundle is still available in the store. 

For my card today, I started with an Ultra Smooth White Cardstock base and then again created a fun background with patterned paper, this time from the Parasols & Pagodas Patterned Paper Pack.

I used the partial die cutting technique to carve out room for a sentiment. The Happy x3 Dies were perfect for this technique, as I used the middle shadow die for the carve out and then layered a Polished ink covered thin "happy" on top. I finished the card with a Juniper Mist stamped sentiment from the retiring Happy Together stamp set.
