Stained Glass Mom Shaker Card

Catherine Pooler Designs is showcasing items from their next collection,Celebrate Spring. This collection has a really beautiful bundle, the Magnificent Mom Bundle, which is what I was lucky enough to create with. The entire collection is available to StampNation members on Tuesday, March 8th at noon EST and ordering to the general public goes live on Wednesday, March 9th at 9am EST.

I have an interactive, stain-glass style shaker card for you today! I first stamped in Midnight Ink and then clear heat embossed the beautiful design from the Coming up Roses Background Stamp onto vellum paper. Onto the back of the vellum, I colored the flowers and leaves very simply with a marker. I then created a shaker by adhering the panel onto a frame made from the Notecard Bubble Frame Dies, added some sequins from the Helsinki Sequin Mix and then adhered to an Ultra Smooth White Cardstock base. 

I then finished the card with a super simple sentiment die cut from the new Just Mom Word Die. Because I used thicker foam, this card really makes some noise when shaken! I love that the design of the Coming up Roses really leans towards a stained glass look too.
