Apothecary Collection of Inks: Crushed Violet and Lilac

You've heard the news that Catherine Pooler Designs is adding to the Spa Collection of inks with four new color in the Apothecary Collection: Whipped Honey, Crushed Violet, Lilac and Matcha! They compliment and fill in gaps of the Spa Collection so well. They will be available Tuesday, June 7th for StampNation members and general release on Wednesday, June 8th along with the other items from the Quint-Essentials Collection!

Today I'm showcasing two colors-Crushed Violet and Lilac. Crushed Violet is a medium blue-violet ink that is part of the Spa family of muted ink colors. It is beautiful paired with the darker Queen for a Day Ink. It is like dried and crushed flower petals and will be perfect for floral stamps and beyond! Lilac is much lighter than Royal Treatment but will pair with it perfectly. Try Lilac with floral images or with vintage inspired color combos.

My card features an Ultra Smooth White Cardstock base with the solid cat image from On the Window Sill Stamp Set. I've done this style of card before, I just love seeing the different ink colors, layering and transparency and how the inks layer. There are so many wonderful shades of purple offered Catherine Pooler Designs, and Crushed Violet and Lilac fit in wonderfully. I finished the card with a sentiment from Every Occasions Stamp Set.
