Plaid Cupcake

I absolutely adore the Wonky Stripe Background Stamp from the Snow-rific Birthday Collection (and the Extra Frosting Bundle) from Catherine Pooler Designs.

I created a soft plaid backdrop for the cupcake by swiping Sparkling Berry onto the stamp, stamping onto the Ultra Smooth White Cardstock, flipping the stamp, swiped it with Clay Mask and then stamped again. By swiping the ink across the stamp, it lightened the saturation of the ink onto the paper. It almost looks like many sketched lines creating the plaid!

I added the cupcake too, stamped with Extra Frosting Stamp Set and die cut with Extra Frosting Dies. The liner was stamped in full saturation in Clay Mask along with the candle flame. The candle was stamped in full saturation with Sparkling Berry, and the frosting was stamped in Whipped Honey and covered with a glitter pen. I finished the card with a stamped sentiment from Everybody Say Happy Sentiments Stamp Set, stamped with Sparkling Berry.
