Time off of work means a bit of extra crafty time and every year around this time I enjoy participating in the the 2022 Altenew A Year in Review Challenge!
My card today was inspired by the inspiration image for the month of September. I was drawn to the muted greens and bright pops of pink and magenta.
I first started by die cutting the Climber Flowers Die Set and inked them with Altenew Inks. I then created the background by ink smooshing yellows, greens and a few spots of red onto a watercolored panel. After that dried, I added some glitter paste with the Stripes Builder Stencil to mimic the fence in the inspiration image. I then adhered the climbing rose die cut and the sentiment from the Signature Words Die Set that were die cut and stacked. I intertwined them a bit to represent the vine coming in and out of the fence from the inspiration image.
I really like this card, lots of bright pops of color against a muted background, but then some extra touches with the glitter too!
