Why Orange?


Orange combines the energy of red and the happiness of yellow.
It is associated with joy, sunshine...
Orange represents enthusiasm, fascination, happiness, creativity, determination, attraction, success, encouragement, and stimulation.
Orange has very high visibility, so you can use it to catch attention
and highlight the most important elements of your design.
Orange is very effective for promoting food products and toys.

So why the big hoopla on orange?
Well, it's my favorite color in real life but I hardly ever reach for it when crafting. Funny, huh?I started by selecting some patterned paper that reminded me of a sunset and then choose a slightly brighter orange patterned paper piece for use on the pinwheel.
I treated myself to the pinwheel and corresponding stamp from Lil' Inker Designs set for my birthday and boy, are they ever fun to work with!

    That patterned paper pinwheel with the pearly center is ADORABLE!!! Fun challenge too----I rarely have anything extend beyond the edge of my cards----this will be a good opportunity to try something new!! Thanks for the inspiration!
