As a butterfly graces your life with one moment's fragile beauty,
think of those that have blessed you with their presence
and those that surrounded you with beauty and unique spirit.
May peace and joy come with each butterfly that passes,
knowing that your their presence lives on in your heart and guides you.

Welcome to the Skipping Stones Design Blog Hop, celebrating the release of the newest set, Breathtaking Butterflies and this week's sketch challenge. You should have arrived from the blog of this month's guest designer, Connie Mercer!
This set truly is breathtaking! It's got beautiful sentiments and large silhouette and detailed butterfly stamps in two designs. For my card today I pulled the colors from Jay Gee's Nook Challenge. (Judith also sells Skipping Stones Design stamps in her Australian on-line store!)
All the details on the challenge as well as hop information can be found on the Skipping Stones Design Blog! Your next stop on the hop is Katie!

ReplyDeleteA MOST unusual take on a sympathy card. I loved the quiet, gentle creativity of it. Woodgrain works with just about everything, I think and I'm hoping my woodgrain impression plate from Papertrey Ink comes to my mailbox soon! Also loved the colors and the tag insert (those too work on everything, don't they?). A unique card, Karen - thanks for the inspiration!
