A Bulldog Sorry

Our furry friends are family indeed, I thought this would be a cute way to send a note of sympathy or thinking of you to family or friends who had a family pet pass away. Or maybe I can send it to an animal lover who has just experienced a trying time? That is what makes cardmaking so awesome, you can customize your card and greeting for just the right moment.

This clean and simple card started out with a card base made from Ultra Smooth White Cardstock, and then covered with the fun diamond pattern from the Hipster Patterned Paper Pack on the bottom two-thirds of the card. I then stamped the little bulldog from the Peeking Pets Stamp Set (which also has coordinating dies) in Sauna onto the left of the card, and a sentiment in Juniper Mist from the One Liners Sentiment Stamp Set on the right.

I finished this clean and simple card with a panel covered in Skylight, and the "sorry" from the My Bad Sentiment Dies, covered in Juniper Mist.

One thing I really appreciate about the patterned paper packs available at Catherine Pooler Designs -in addition to the always fun designs that coordinate with stamp sets, is that they list the colors of coordinating ink on their packaging. There is no guessing when it comes to what ink colors match the paper.
