A Snowman Shaker

 

The images from Caroling Sentiments, a new set from the Jolly Holiday Collection from Catherine Pooler Designs is perfect for shakers!  

For my card today, I first cut a panel of super cute trees from the Holiday Whimsy Patterned Paper Pack. I then die cut the snowman image out from the center of the panel using the Caroling Sentiments Die Cuts and backed it with acetate to create a shaker window. Onto a white card base made from Ultra Smooth White Cardstock, I lined up the panel and stamped the coordinating snowman sentiment from the Caroling Sentiments Stamp Set with Midnight Ink. I colored the hat band an the scarf with a blander pen and Be Mine Ink.

To create the shaker, I lined the back of the patterned paper panel with foam tape, then applied some chunky glitter and a sprinkling of the North Pole Sequins Mix and then adhered the panel to the card base for a fun shaker card.
