Catherine Pooler Designs: Nordic Wood Collection

Have you caught the lives or replays on Catherine Pooler's You Tube or Facebook these past couple of days? She has showcased items from Catherine Pooler Designs newest collection, Nordic Woods! This collection has inspiration taken from the Swiss Alps or German Forests and folk art holiday markets. The patterns and images mix and match! The collection will be available Wednesday, October 28th at 9am EST (there is early ordering for StampNation Members- tomorrow, Tuesday the 26th at noon!)

This shaker card I am showcasing today features items from the Nordic Traditions Bundle...the beautiful background stamp, Sweater Weather, and the beautiful, intricate sentiment die, Wishes Word Die. I also used the new, coordinating All Around Wishes Stamp Set and Pinecone Greetings Stamp Set and Pinecone Dies, along with the beautiful Oak City Sequin Mix.

I started with a card base and a cut panel made from Ultra Smooth White Cardstock. Onto the panel, I stamped and white heat embossed the gorgeous Sweater Weather background stamp. I also die cut the Wishes Word Die from the panel, and then created a shaker card by adhering the panel onto the card base, on top of the Oak City Sequin Mix.

I then added the additional layer of the Wishes Word Die on top of the acetate and finished the card with a sentiment from the All Around Wishes Stamp Set and a small image from the Pinecone Greetings Stamp Set die cut with the coordinating Pinecone Dies. What a cozy, warm card this turned out to be, I love it!
