Sending Pinecone Wishes

 

Catherine Pooler Designs newest collection, Nordic Woods has arrived! This collection is perfect for the holidays, or really versatile enough for year round. It takes its inspiration from the Swiss Alps or German Forests and folk art holiday markets. The patterns and images mix and match! 

I am showcasing the amazing Pinecone Greetings Stamp Set (which I hear is close to selling out, but more stock is on it's way!) 

My card started with a watercolor panel misted with water. I used a variety of the pinecone and greenery images from the Pinecone Greetings Stamp Set. I inked the stamp in various shades of brown (Over Coffee and Icing on the Cake for the pinecones) and misted the stamps with water before stamping onto the paper. I used Eucalyptus for the greenery and then added some berries from the previously released Boughs & Berries Stamp Set, I used Mandarin Spice for the ink.

To finish the card, I stamped the amazing set of greetings from All Around Wishes Stamp Set in Midnight ink right on top of the watercolor panel (after it was dry), splattered gold paint and adhered it to a card base that had been swiped with Eucalyptus.
