AECP Inspired

Today there is an Instagram Hop (with a giveaway) for the Altenew Educator participants participating in the program and the certified educators. We are sharing a project made with the Altenew Academy class which has inspired us the most in mind. I recently took the With A Twist class taught by the talented Therese Calvird. I really was inspired to try to go outside of my comfort zone and use some unconventional colors both to me and florals.

I started this card by ink blending the grays from the Rock Collection Inks with the Stripe Builder Stencil onto soft stone cardstock. I then splattered the background with After Dark Izink. I then die cut the florals and fauna from the Climber Florals Die Set, coloring the floral with red Copics and the fauna with shades of blue violets.

I arranged the color die cuts onto the card base and then finished the card with a die cut from the elegant Signature Word Die Set and a stamped sentiment from the Many Thanks Stamp Set.

This card has already been placed in the mail and received by the recipient, a super good friend that is always encouraging and even surprised me with an Altenew set I've been wanting for forever! I've never met her in person but really hope to some day.
